Tom has just one more day before leaving the PBB house for good

Several days ago, Tom became too emotional to the point of slamming his fist against the wall. On top of that, he had to leave for the hospital because of his illness. After 22 hours, he was back in the house with a completely different disposition, to the delight of his housemates. His temporary exit made him realize how much he missed his housemates. He ended his night by hugging the stuffed toy left by Princess.

His happiness was short-lived, though. Kuya called all nominees to the confession room and informed them that this week’s evictee would not be decided by the poll. While this meant that five of the nominees – Carol, Yuri, Tibo, Jason and Paul Jake – were safe, this also meant goodbye for Tom. As the rules clearly state, Tom’s violence had to be punished with a forced eviction. Left alone with Kuya, Tom keeps silent as he accepted Kuya’s decision. Kuya thanked him for his stay and gave him tidbits of advice as he prepared to face the outside world. He assured Kuya that he understood that he was at fault, and was in full support of the eviction.

Back with his housemates, the others attempted to ease Tom’s burden by hugging him and listening to him. It meant a lot to Tom to have time to explain his side, but could not really get over his disappointment with himself. Tom felt that there was nothing for him outside. He could not imagine how people could accept him afterwards, and was at a loss as to how to hold his head up and face people. He feared how his family would react and hoped Princess would understand. As he contemplated going to the military back in the States, his housemates urged him not to give up and to fight for himself.

Tom still has one more day to spend with his housemates, and will be exiting the house tomorrow night. Tom exits Kuya’s house

Tom began the week with the weight of a lapel violation, which led to a punishment. It was followed by a shower violation, with its consequence affecting the others. Though he was easily forgiven by the rest, he was still disturbed that he was being a burden to his housemates. Tom was already told to stay put due to his failing health, and all he could do was to stand aside and watch his team go down. He punched the wall in frustration, an action that scared even him. This led to an emotional outburst, and though comforted by the rest of the boys, Tom was still carrying guilt and the pressure to do all for his team.

The pressure and stress of the week finally took its toll on Tom’s physique. His constant exercise was no match for the combined force of emotional, mental and physical strain. Tom was already feeling under the weather, and with the pressure of utter helplessness, a violation and a big loss piled up against him, his body just broke down. His initial check up was not enough and simple bed rest would not suffice. Tom left the PBB house at around 4:30 pm and headed to the hospital, where he will be put under observation and attached to an IV.

House A is temporarily less one housemate, but they were not the only ones affected. Due to Tom’s exit, Kuya declared voting as temporarily suspended, as all await Tom’s return. Will his body be able to surpass this? Or will Tom have to say goodbye permanently to being a housemate? Stay posted to find out updates on Tom’s health. Tom breaks down as the games take its toll on them

Yesterday morning, Kuya gathered the house teams to declare the winner of the second battle. First team to win three out of five will be this week’s winner, and would enjoy the benefits of a full budget. House B was clearly ahead in the first half of the game, but House A caught up in the second half. However, one housemate failed to acknowledge the change of rules for the second half. This caused them the win, as the second part of the game was considered void, awarding the win to House B. Rob, the one at fault, had difficulty accepting the decision, feeling that the instant changing of rules was unfair. The other housemates urged him to let it go and to focus on the following games instead, until Yuri and Marielle pointed out that their neighbors also committed violations of the original rule. That Rob’s violation was punished yet the others overlooked riled everyone, and they discussed how to present their case to Kuya. They would have been okay with the decision, except that they felt the decision showed an unfair bias in favor of their opponent.

The games have increased the competition between the two houses, and inevitably, among their respective housemates. Winning did not equate to teamwork and sportsmanship as much as it did survival. No longer was it simple play; it has become a desperate fight for survival. The latter would require ruthlessness and a no holds barred fight, pushing one to disregard humane aspects such as sensitivity and compassion. This realization moved Tom to tears, and he began to question his actions and self-control. He reacted negatively to the other team, and realized that the competition was pushing him to be violent and abrasive. “I don’t want to be violent, and I know that if I play, I play to win.” As with any game, he explained, one plays for his team, but all in fun. However, with the weekly budget at stake, the games have become a fight for survival, and that would mean doing everything possible to ensure his team does not go hungry. But if it meant being pushed to hurt others, “I won’t be able to forgive myself. If that’s the side that has to come out, I’d rather leave. I don’t want that side to come out.” Just thinking negatively towards the others left him full of guilt. Tom felt scared of what he could do. “I can’t function that way. Kung ganoon ‘yung rules, I don’t want to play; I want to leave.” Patrick, quite emotional himself, tried to comfort Tom. He reassured Tom that he just had to control himself more, and believe that he would not hurt others. Tom felt that he could not contribute anything anymore, which Patrick countered by saying that his presence alone was enough contribution.

Survival of the fittest

Kung laro-laro lang, simple sana ang usapan. Pero sa takbo ng labanan,hindi na simpleng pagkapanalo lang ang pinag-uusapan, kundi survival.Siyempre, kapag existence na ng sarili at nmga kasamahan ang nakataya,the stakes are higher and the steps taken to reach survival are more.Survival of the fittest

Hindi mapakali si Tom nang ma-realize niya that he's not being himself already. Pansin niya na may trendency siya na maging violent kapag kapankanan na ng team niya ang nakasalalay, at ayaw niyang umabot sa punto na makasakit siya ng iba. Mahirap kontrolin ang sarili, at ayaw niyang mawalan ng control, only to regret it after. Mas gugustuhin niya pa raw umalis ng bahay kesa maging ganon. Gaya ni Princess, ayaw niyang i-compromise ang mga principles ng pagkatao niya para lang manalo. Sa sobrang bothered, napaiyak talaga si Tom sa mga kasamahang boys. Marami kasi siyang naisip na negative, at yun palang, natakot na siya. Sobrang sama ng loob niya na nakaramdam na siya ng mga hindi mabuting bagay.

Hay. Kaya mo yan, Tom. Ganyan talaga ang totoong buhay.

Nominado nanaman si Tom, and though obviously hindi happy feeling ang ma-nominate ng mga kasama mo, hindi rin naman nagtatanim ng bad vibes si Tom sa mga kasama. Sa kwentuhan nila ni Hermes, agree ang pareho na may time talaga na gusto lang nilang mapag-isa. Minsan talaga, kailangan din ng tao ang personal time para mag-isip o basta maging quiet muna. Si Tom, para maiwasan ang malungkot or ma-bore, dinadaan sa chikahan at joke time ang mga idle moments, pero naisip niya na baka dapat bawasan na niya ang mga ito at maghanap nalang siya ng ibang outlet.

E kung daanin mo nalang din sa pag-compose ng kanta?

After more than a month together, it looks like the housemates’ true personalities are starting to show. In House A, Yuri got nominated for being asleep all the time (five votes) while Tom is beginning to get on his housemates’ nerves for being too bossy and opinionated at times (six votes). In House B, Tibo and Paul Jake got the most nominations (five votes each). The two were nominated by their housemates because they felt Tibo and Paul Jake missed their loved ones outside the house. Jason got nominated too (three votes) for the others think he has too many violations. Carol got a tie with Jason because her housemates felt she couldn’t quite cope with the situations inside the house. Although sad, the nominees are optimistic that they have done enough to prove that they deserve to stay inside Kuya’s house.

Tumatakbo ang oras, nalalapit na ang 3rd eviction night, hindi natin alam kung sino ang aalis sa bahay ni kuya.. Iboto pa natin si Tom mga tomcess, vampers, at tomcruisers! alam ko yung iba diyan iniisip na sana matanggal na si Tom para magkasama na sila ni Princess, pero kahit ganun alam ko din naman na kaya niyo lang naiisip iyon ay dahil sa namimiss na ninyo ang mga panahong magkasama sila.Huwag nating kalimutan na may usapan si Tom at Princess na magkikita sila sa BIG NIGHT kaya naman dapat makasama si Tom sa final 4 okay?

Si Princess sa Cebu

Kamakailan lang ng ipost ni Princess sa facebook account niya ang kanyang mga litrato sa Cebu. Batay sa mga larawan ay masasabing nag-enjoy talaga si Princess sa panahong iginugol niya doon kasama ang kanyang mga malalapit na kaibigan. Marahil nagrefresh at nagunwind si Princess doon.

Ilan sa mga litrato ay kuha sa tabing dagat, at kitang-kita naman talaga ang natural na ganda ni Princess sa mga litrato niya. Masasabi ko din na mahusay ang kumuha ng litrato niya.

Ang tanong ko lang... naiisip kaya niya si Tom, nung mga panahong iyon?

A whole new world for Tom

Mukhang nagbukas si Princess ng bagong mundo kay Tom ah! Bilang part ng song for the day ni Tom, napakanta siya ng linya from the Disney hit : "Tell me Princess, now when did you last let your heart decide?" Hmm..feeling Aladdin ka naman, ganon? Ayun, bigla nalang nag-reminisce si Tom tungkol sa time na nag-iimpake siya at pinaalala ni Princess na magbaon siya ng saging. At dahil nasa point of reminiscing and missing na rin lang siya, naalala na rin ni Tom ang mommy niya. Apparently, very close sila, kaya naman bago pa sila mag-goodbye sa phone e ten years na ang dadaan. Puro "I love you" kasi sila sa isa't isa. Awww... mama's boy ba si Tom o talagang sweet lang talaga?
